VACUUM TECHNOLOGY

Vacuum technology for die casting molds for zamak

The introduction of vacuum technology for zamak molding has become an essential factor, both for products where aesthetics is predominant and for technical products where instead the mechanical features of the die cast blast are fondamental.

The vacuum technology enhance the evacuation of the air and of the gases existing inside the cavity, to be filled, when zamak in liquid state, enters into the mold, favoring the full filling, the compaction of the material and the exit of the gases that otherwise would be imprisoned inside the die-cast object.

The imprisonment of the air and of the gases that flow in the normal die-casting process, in addition to a possible weakening of the mechanical resistance of the object would cause problems in possible subsequent mechanical works and painting operations, where bubbles or puffs could come up ruining superficial homogeneity and negatively affecting production costs.

For this reason, even more customers request, if possible, the use of the vacuum valve for new diecasting molds, for old equipment made by other suppliers, solving problems and lowering production costs.
