REVERSE ENGINEERING

Thanks to consolidated partnerships with important companies leader in the sector, we offer a careful and highly professional "reverse engineering" service, giving the possibility to make mold reproduction, absolutely precise , without necessary owning any design.
We generally suggest this service when customer owns a really old mold or purchases it from a supplier that no longer exists and wants to reproduce or repair it without difficulties.

MOLDS and 3D PRINTING

With the advent of new 3D printing technologies, we have decided to use almost daily laser technologies to satisfy particular needs of those who want to produce perfect mold for plastics or zama.
This allowed us to make commercial agreements with leading companies in the sector with the possibility, therefore, to give our customer an excellent service in terms of quality, price and delivery times.

LASER ENGRAVINGS

Laser engraving is carried out with the help of a CNC machine that gives the possibility to perform incisions, even small ones, directly on the print parts of a mold, both in 2D and in 3D, obtaining writings, drawings, logos, textures on flat surfaces, keeping high precision and excellent care and quality. Laser engraving is also use to produce blocks or electrodes, essential part of the production of the mold, otherwise impossible to realize with other technologies.

LASER WELDING

When we talk about modifications, maintenance, repairs, revisions of molds, inevitably we are talking about laser welding. A system already present since many years in mold industry, which gives the possibility to make adjustements, maintenance, repairs and modifications even on cold molds, without overheating the involved parts, without affecting the structure of the worked mold, guaranteeing all geometries and mechanical work near the welding, without creating distortions or the loss of mechanical features.

MECHANICAL WORK

In order to give all customers a finished and quality product, we have implemented a service of mechanical machining on zamak die-cast parts, drilling, boring, die-cast casting.

TUMBLING

What is the main purpose of tumbling? Tumbling of a zamak die-casting detail is generally used to remove possible burrs and superficial imperfections and it is particularly suitable for the production of external surfaces of a piece particularly smooth and homogeneous.
It is generally performed on large quantities of work pieces. Tumbling process is carried out in a low intensity vibrating machine, which with the help of abrasive supports, also known as cones or chips, helps to complete all workpieces surfaces, within a variable period of time depending on the effect required
After tumbling, drying is performed and if required by the customer, also
We recommend tumbling when zama molding requires smooth surfaces suitable to make the galvanic treatment or to be painted.

GALVANIC TREATMENTS

Galvanic treatments on die-cast zamak products have now become indispensable, especially if the zamak details will be used in open air or in dry environments.
Zama components shall be submitted to a salt spray test , from 90 to 500 hours depending on the type of galvanic treatment, trivalent galvanizing treatment, nickel plating, copper plating, galvanizing with sealant and others, depending also on the shape and on the thickness of the piece.
Galvanic treatments can be performed on a frame when high quality of the finished product is required and when there’s the possibility to sustain higher costs comparing to galvanic treatments performed on rotobarile ,suitable for big quantities and focused on the aesthetics of the finished product.
Galvanic treatments (comply with the Rohs standards) that we can apply on all zama products are:
• Trivalent white zinc plating (Cr3)
• High resistance iridescent zinc plating (Cr6 free)
• Glossy nickel-plating
• Ramatura
• Tinning
• Ottoning

PAINTING

With the coating of a component in zamak, two main purposes are reached, the decoration and protection against oxidation and corrosion. To obtain a better painting result on zamak, the operations to be undertaken are:
• to reach maximum adhesion, prepare the piece chemically with an alkaline degreasing causing a rinse in demineralized water or mechanically prepare it with sandblasting or vibrating action.
• If vacuum technology is not used for the production of zamak die-cast parts, it will be necessary to heat-treat the zamak pieces to eliminate all physiological gases during the die casting production cycle, which can cause microporosity and consequently aesthetical defect and the beginning of corrosion.
• In spray painting, primers suitable for the adhesion on the zamak are used.
• In powder coating, primer is not needed, in the direct use on the zama, the adhesion is excellent.

PACKAGING and LOGISTICS

To complete, we offer a customized packaging and palletizing service, placing the cast pieces, in bulk or specifically in order to facilitate the production department, respecting the specific requests of the customer. Usually, the coomon palletizing systems requested are:

• Nylon bags reinforced in boxes owned by the customer
• Nylon bags reinforced directly on pallets
• Reinforced plastic or metal baskets and baskets, owned by the Customer
• Reinforced cardboard boxes of our property, even non returnable
• Cardboard boxes owned by the Customer

For all molds we manufacture, we assure our customers delivery and collection service with our own vehicles.
